Outdoor sessions are meant to feel easy. These sessions are up to one hour and will have a variety of posed and candid moments. We’ll take our time, move at your kids’ pace, and let them be themselves—running, exploring, playing, and taking breaks when they need to. My background as a teacher means I come in with patience, flexibility, and a sense of humor, not expectations of “perfect” behavior. Whether things feel calm or chaotic, it’s all welcome here. Your kids are never too much, and you deserve photos that reflect who they really are. This is my most popular type of session - great for couples, families, maternity, kids, announcements, etc. You can choose the location or get some suggestions near you. This includes whole group, individual portraits and any combinations you would like.

FAQ
How many photos do you get?
It's hard to put a number on this because it changes so much based on the number of people in the family, poses, timing, participation, etc. At minimum you'll receive 50 edited photos in both color and black and white delivered via online gallery with unlimited downloads. However, the number of photos usually ranges from 60-80 and I never toss great photos! If they are clear, quality, unique photos - they'll be in your gallery.
Will we be taking photos for a whole hour?
Usually no! An hour gives us time to park, get to the location, walk if needed, change clothes or diapers, traffic, bathroom breaks, etc. We may not need the whole hour and often kids (and dads) won't make it the whole time. We will try to get lots of the posed shots done at the start and end the session with more playful candids.
Can we bring grandma/nanny/aunt to our session?
Reach out if you'd like to add more people to your session. A fee may be added depending on the number of people.
When do you get your photos back?
My turnaround time is 3 weeks.
